Getting started: prepare the business information.
Bring your products or services, target markets, approved prices and a typical enquiry. Exwest uses these to agree the first workflow, deliverables and review responsibilities with you.
1. Choose the scope
Describe the repeated problem: unclear product enquiries, slow supplier comparison or poorly qualified opportunities. Identify the customer, internal owner and the point where progress stalls. Use an anonymized example if it contains personal or confidential information. A small representative workflow is more useful than an unbounded promise to automate everything.
2. Bring the business basis
Prepare products or services, options, supported territories and customer profiles. Add the approved price basis, validity, exclusions and exceptions. Identify which information is authoritative and who keeps it current. Distinguish a published catalogue from an internal assumption. The planned CIE configuration would use this information to guide fit and offer preparation.
3. Define decisions and review
Name the people who approve discounts, delivery commitments and scope changes. List the information they need and the events that pause progress. Define a useful outcome: a qualified opportunity, reviewed offer, agreed next step or reasoned no-go. Discuss preparation and fit with Exwest.
